What does an immigration practitioner do?
A registered immigration practitioner prepares and submits South African visa and residence applications on a client's behalf. That means checking eligibility, gathering and checking documents, booking the VFS appointment, tracking the application with the Department of Home Affairs and handling appeals if it is refused. Home Affairs makes the final decision, so no practitioner can guarantee an outcome.
